How to Save Time on Pinterest

Head on over here for a quick video and learn a few tricks to how I get away with spending only 5-10 minutes a day on Pinterest, but STILL get massive traffic and new leads.

Join the conversation on Facebook

First off, it’s important to understand that you DO NOT need to be on Pinterest all day every day. It is not a “social” platform, so you won’t be having conversations to keep track of throughout the week.

Second, you want to understand that Pinterest is like the slowest moving dinosaur ever. But once started, its super hard to stop the momentum. So, yes, spending 5-10 min a day may seem like not very much, but it’s going to make a massive difference over time!

So, how do I get away with only spending 5-10 minutes a day on a social media platform?

1. Set a Timer

Like any social media platform, it’s super easy to get stuck in the scroll and keep on going. Pinterest is just the same. Set a timer for 10 min, get on, stay focused, and get off.

2. Be Organized and Specific

Pinterest doesn’t want you, as a business, just on the platform pinning stuff. They want you there with a specific strategy in place to help them and help your audience. I teach you this exact strategy in the Pinterest Organic Growth Academy.

3. Get Off Pinterest

Even if I don’t finish everything I wanted to on Pinterest, I still get off. This is important because as an entrepreneur you want to tell yourself that you do what you’re going to do. When you get off, even if you didn’t finish it, the next time you get on, you’ll be more efficient and get it done.

4. Show Up

I don’t mean show up all day every day. I mean show up once a day, for 5-10 minutes. And show up 3-5 days a week. If you’re sick or on vacation, don’t worry about it. (WHAT?!). Yes, don’t worry about it! If you’ve been consistent, and showed up to Pinterest then it’s OK to take some days off the platform. Read more about how to engage on Pinterest here.

Pretty amazing right?
