You’ve probably heard that Pinterest is NOT a social media platform. That being said, you are allowed to comment on pins. So, up comes the question “Do Pinterest comments matter?”. Check out below to find out!
Also, if you’ve been wondering about Pinterest story pins, I give you some feedback on that as well!
Do Pinterest Comments Matter?
First off, head on over here for a quick video and learn whether Pinterest comments really matter or not.
The short answer is NO.
Comments on your pins do not matter.
Pinterest is not a social media platform.
Although you CAN comment and like and engage with a pin, the best thing you want them to do is direct a user to your website. So commenting on others’ pins won’t help them. If you are looking for your pin to go viral, then ask for others to share your pin, re-pin it, and click on it.
Does Liking a Pin Matter?
Likewise, you get the same answer – Nope. Liking a pin does not boost your analytics or help improve traffic to your website.
In Conclusion
Finally… please do not spend your time liking and commenting on others’ pins to grow your business or help others. The BEST thing you can do is click on their pin to provide engagement.
